She's short and sweet just like a cupcake, so she is known as my Cupcake doll.
She is 10 inches of cuteness. She's floppy and weighted. She's the perfect size for a 1st doll but also perfect for any age. This is my easiest "Waldorf" style doll. You will still need basic sewing skills and need to learn to make a rolled wool doll head, which my pattern will teach you to do. We also have pre-made wool heads if you're new. It's good to see the heads already made in real life, if you've never made one before. Usually one or two tries and most people have learned it fairly easily. This pattern includes the pattern pieces for the doll, the dress and tights, as well as the knitting pattern for the hat and booties. The pattern recommends you purchase a pre-made doll wig or crochet a wig from mohair yarn. The pattern does not teach wig making. We do sell a pattern separately if you wish to learn to make your own. You will also learn how to roll wool limbs for the doll. The tutorial part of the pattern will walk you through each step of the doll making from start to finish. There are 135 pages that include color photo's with instructions all the way through the pattern, so it is like I'm there with you. There are step by step photo's for the dress and tights as well.
